DNV [Det Norske Veritas] is an independent foundation helping the maritime and energy industries, governments and regulatory agencies manage risk in an increasingly complex landscape.

To balance its roles between third party advisor and expert consultant, DNV’s communications must be unequivocal and build trust with those it serves. As an advisor to the Corporate Communications team, Ken has led a number of initiatives to clarify brand architecture, improve brand governance, sharpen DNV’s messaging and use storytelling to improve communication competency and the quality of its marketing.

Ken and team have also helped recast the theme of DNV’s recruitment communications, creating unexpected profiles of employees to demonstrate the creativity and character DNV is looking for.
